1. How many days or years do you spend doing all of these activities over the course of your lifetime? How much time do you have left in the end?I spend 1,825 days eating in 80 years, I spend 10,950 days working in 80 years, I spend 6,083(.33) days of screen time in 80 years, and I spend 9,733(.33) days sleeping. I have 1,745 days left over to spend.
2. How does this make you feel? How would you want to spend these years?
It makes me feel weird to know that I spend a lot of days doing small things like eating. I never knew that I would spend 1,825 days eating in 25 years nor like the others. But, I would like to spend these years doing more things like playing sports or trying new and different things.
3. Do you feel these estimates accurately reflect the time you will spend doing each activity in your own lifetime? If not how would your own answers change the amount of time you have left over?
I think that these have a 7/10 estimate of how much time I will use for these activities. I believe it is a 7/10 because there is a lot of time in a lifetime but I think that there is a lot of days used for these specific activities. My answers would change because of birth date. A lot of people are born on different dates so depending on your birth date it will differ.
4. How did you use unit rates to solve this problem? What was difficult for you? What was easy?
I didn't use unit rates. But this was sort of hard and sort of easy. The coloring part was easy because all you had to do was to color the total number of spots for each activity. But the finding part was hard. We had to use decimals and round to whole numbers. We had to find the time used for each activity. We did this by multiplying or dividing.
