I got my ideas from a website called Myth Brainstorming Machine. I used a character fighting a beast while a volcano was erupting which is what I did but changed it. I think the most difficult part of the process was thinking of the rising action, climax, and falling action because I had to brainstorm each individual part and think of what I could do to make it better. I have grown as a writer since the start of the year because I would think of ideas that were too easy and now I have challenged myself to write better and more interesting work. I will take away slow motion from this unit. I think that you can use slow motion in any kind of writing. It helps to give a lot of meaning and description to your writing. It slows down the part to give more details and more intense or however you want the reader to feel when reading the part. Overall, I really enjoyed reading and writing mythology.
